This dehydrated allograft is processed aseptically and is terminally gamma sterilized to achieve a sterility assurance level (SAL) of 1 x 10-6. AmchoPlast is packaged as a sterile product in sealed, single-use pouches.
Applications include management of chronic wounds, such as diabetic foot ulcers, pressure ulcers, and venous ulcers. It is also commonly used in surgical reconstruction, particularly for surgical wounds, soft tissue reconstruction, and donor sites. In addition, it may be applied to traumatic wounds, including first- and second-degree burns, lacerations, cuts, and abrasions.
